Safari Tanzania 4 days
We know how, especially the web, has put pressure on the desire to travel around the world. But real travelers don’t just want to put flags on a souvenir passport, they really want to discover the world. In order to do so, you need to devote the right time to it. Safaris of 2, 3 or 4 days are among the most researched, but you should also know that the very limited time could deprive you of the wonder of slow rhythms and especially of the pleasure of observing nature.
On the other hand, we know how difficult it is to obtain longer holiday periods, especially for certain categories of professionals. This is why the 4-day Tanzania Safari can be a great idea, maybe you could require a private Safari or join only a part of the tour, according to your tastes or needs.
4 days safari: what to see
Our Group Safaris lasts at least 5 days, this is the minimum time we have evaluated to be able to discover Tanzania in its authenticity. In case of special needs you can still contact us and we will try to find a solution for you.
What can you see in a 4-days safari
You can take care of the Serengeti-Ndutu area. In our Safari Ndutu we dedicate just four days to this area recognized as a UNESCO heritage. A safari in the savannah gives you the opportunity to observe up close elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos and more. This location, known for the phenomenon of migration, also allows you to observe the movement of animals at the right time of year. In the area of Ndutu, from January to March, it is also possible to see the birth of the cubs.
Another option would be to dedicate 2 days to Serengeti and the other two to Lake Manyara. Here you can see 11 different ecosystems and the crater of Ngorongoro that houses many animals including zebras and wildebeests, but also elephant lions and hyenas.
Or, after 2 days in Serengeti, you could move towards Lake Natron known for its salt water and for housing a very high number of flamingos and waterfowl, you can then dedicate the fourth day to Tarangire where you can observe: giraffes, elephants, warthogs and dik-dik.
How many days do you need for a Safari in Tanzania?
Most likely, if you are on this page, you are deciding how to set up your holiday in Tanzania. You will want to discover as much as possible, ranging between nature and beaches, also staying in dream locations as the one in Zanzibar. We can tell you for sure though, that if you want to organize a Safari the best solution is the one with a duration of at least 6 days.
Our shortest safari is called Ladha which means “tasting”, it lasts 3 days and 2 nights. On this route you will start from Manyara Lake for the first day, visiting the many varieties of ecosystems and observing the animals that live in it, among which the arboreal lions; the following day is dedicated to the visit of the incredible Caldera of Ngorongoro where, with a bit of luck and an alarm clock set very early, you can also spot the Black Rhinoceros now endangered. Last day is dedicated to Tarangire, here in addition to discovering the landscape rich in baobab and greener than usual you can also see up close giraffes, elephants, gazelles and dik-dik.
In short, if you want to do a Safari and see the area of Zanzibar the best thing to do is to choose a 3-day Safari and then move for 2 or 3 days to the sea. Don’t count less than a week of travel if you really want to get to know Tanzania.
If you are thinking of making everything fit and you just can not lengthen your trip, you can also turn to professionals in the industry asking if it there is any way to have a shorter tour, maybe customized, or if it was possible to join the group only in a part of the safari. Private safaris can be a great alternative but the cost could get a bit higher.
If you do have decided on the contrary to extend your holidays, you can take a look at our safaris and choose the most complete one that best suits your needs and tastes.
